USG of Outreach
As someone who claims to be scared of conflict, debate, public speaking, and politics, Ruth was “voluntold” to join the Model UN club with the goal of improving her confidence. After attending a few conferences of various sizes, she grew from quietly listening and observing in her first conference just over a year ago to bravely leading a bloc and passing a resolution in her latest. In her final year at Pacific Christian School and the first ever PCSMUN, she will be serving as the USG of Outreach. She can hardly wait to see what memories, experiences, skills, and friendship the conference will bring!
Secretary General
From a shy Grade 9 delegate who spoke once at her first conference to President of Pacific Christian’s Model United Nations and Secretary General of PCSMUN 2026. Mikaela is a student whose passion for global issues, meaningful dialogue, and informed leadership has shaped an incredible Model UN journey. Since her first conference in 2022, Mikaela has attended 15 conferences, earned 9 awards, and grown through both the challenges and triumphs that come with stepping into global conversations.
USG of Committees and Delegate Affairs
From an extrovert who couldn’t find his voice, to a person who says he “loves” public speaking, Oliver has grown immensely as a delegate since joining the small model UN club at Pacific Christian in grade 9. Oliver has attended a number of regional and international conferences moving into 11th grade, and is extremely happy to be joining PCSMUN as the Director of Committees and Delegate Affairs. He’s always excited to have a good debate on any topic, and coming to a strong resolution. Oliver is ecstatic to welcome all to PCSMUN 2026, and foster amazing new experiences, memories, and all.
Chair, SOCHUM
Ria-Marie joined Model UN in Grade 8 with a friend, inspired by Gilmore Girls and Rory's debate club. What started as curiosity became years of conferences, ferry trips, and learning how to hold her ground in a room full of strong opinions. Now in Grade 10, she brings experience, confidence, and a sharp sense of perspective to her role on the SOCHUM dias team.
Director, SOCHUM
Aanika joined Model United Nations in Grade 9 out of curiosity and quickly found herself enjoying the collaborative and discussion-based nature of conferences. Since joining, she has attended two conferences where she has developed confidence in public speaking, diplomacy, and critical thinking. While Model UN began as something fun to try, it has become a space for growth, learning, and stepping outside her comfort zone.
Co-Chair, SOCHUM
Connor remains relatively new within the MUN scene; however, he aims to develop his ability to have global conversations and support all delegates in both their research and speech. Connor is committed to fostering a friendly MUN environment for those of any background and experience levels. As Connor continues his MUN journey, he looks forward to connecting with delegates, discussing global topics, and he eagerly anticipates the lively debate which PCSMUN will offer.
Director, DISEC
From an 8th grader at PCS who didn’t know the first thing about MUN and joined the school club because it sounded cool, to an experienced 10th grader who’s running an entire MUN committee, Micah has grown a passion for lively debate. Micah has been to many MUN conferences, won several awards, and doesn’t intend on stopping anytime soon. Micah is proud to be serving as director for the first time in the very first iteration of PCSMUN!
Chair, DISEC
From a 8th grade loud obnoxious student of PCS who sucked at Fortnite and only knew about American politics, to getting dragged into Model UN by Micah Ryzuk who showed him the world and people of Model UN. In his first conference he spoke two times and almost died of embarrassment when he accidentally swore and got called out. Now in tenth grade he's gone to four conferences and spoken a lot more (without swearing).
Co-Chair, DISEC
Joel began his Model UN journey during 10th grade at SMUSMUN on the UNHRC and has attended Brentwood IMUN as part of the Cuban Missile Crisis committee. He enjoys collaborating with other delegates to form plans of action. Outside of school Joel spends his time tinkering with electronics and building circuitry. Joel plans to continue his schooling at the UVIC Engineering program after graduation.
Flex Staff
Annabelle, a confident grade 9 who enjoyed being a part of PCS MUN club so much in the 2025 school year that she is willing to ditch her new friends at SMUS to join the staff team of PCSMUN. She is extremely excited to be flex staffing at PCSMUN as her first staff experience, and can't wait to bring her vibrant and bubbly energy to the conference!
Flex Staff
Meika Langley is a creative young girl with a passion for creating art in AP Art and loves working in the school’s Newspaper Club. Meika hadn’t been too interested in MUN until this year and is eager to pass notes and be extremely helpful to the MUN delegates. While being new to MUN, Meika hopes to have a great first impression as a PCS MUN Staff for the school’s first ever MUN conference.
Flex Staff
Eunice is a student who loves to try new things and this time is trying out model UN for the first time! She is currently a grade 11 student searching for her passion. She enjoys hanging out with friends, drawing, and finding new music to listen to!
